Con una importante convocatoria se realizó el evento más importante del software de código abierto en Latinoamérica, donde la compañía presentó las últimas innovaciones en cloud, plataformas, virtualización y middleware.
Lima, 21 de noviembre– Más de un centenar de líderes de la industria de tecnologías de la información (TI) del Perú se reunieron en la primera edición del Red Hat Forum for Business de Lima, para conocer por qué el open source facilita la innovación en el mundo digital, cuál es el impacto de las contribuciones de la comunidad, y cómo la innovación abierta ayudará a las empresas a adoptar la transformación digital, de la mano de visionarios y líderes globales, regionales y locales de Red Hat y la industria TI.
Dentro de los temas que se abordaron en el evento, destacaron las últimas tendencias en implementación y gestión de nube híbrida, desarrollo de infraestructura de plataformas, virtualización y contenedores, y ciberseguridad, en materias como compliance, identidad y mitigación de riesgos.
En el contexto de este importante evento de la multinacional de open-source se sucedieron sesiones de negocios que abordaron temáticas relacionadas a cómo las tecnologías de código abierto pueden ayudar a las compañías a transformar sus áreas de TI, con el propósito de lograr ventajas competitivas en la era digital. Los asistentes pudieron conocer cómo innovar y desarrollar estrategias efectivas en el entorno de la cuarta Revolución Industrial.
La presentación inaugural estuvo a cargo de Sebastián Cao, Director de la Technology Office de Red Hat para América Latina, quien explicó porqué el desarrollo de código abierto y la organización “open” están remeciendo a la industria de TI, y son las tendencias a futuro en el ámbito de la transformación digital. Por su parte, los solution architects de Red Hat Jhon Inga y Jorge Hansen expusieron sobre las últimas tendencias de la industria, con énfasis en la innovación que la cultura abierta puede aportar a las organizaciones.
También se organizaron paneles de clientes para presentar casos de implementaciones exitosas de soluciones de código abierto en compañías de diferentes sectores productivos y organismos de gobierno. Entre ellas, Osmar Alza, director de Información Migratoria de la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones de Argentina, presentó la exitosa experiencia de transformación digital de este organismo público, que con gracias a la tecnología y asesoría de Red Hat, desarrolló una plataforma para conciliar toda la información migratoria de ese país en tiempo real, a través de herramientas como inteligencia artificial, analytics y DevOps.
El evento contó con el auspicio y stands de marcas líderes de tecnología en el Perú, tales como Nexsys, Logicalis y Microsoft.
